 Ms Ntshadi Pilane who died aged 93 will be remembered for her contribution as a public servant.

Ms Pilane who was a former nurse and wife of former DPSM director and permanent secretary at the then Ministry of Home Affairs, Mr Duplaix Pilane, died  May 15.

When visiting the family homestead in Pilane on yesterday  to pay his last respects, President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi spoke about the significant contribution of the Pilane family to the public service.

He commended Ms Pilane for her dedication to serving the nation.

Ms Pilane's exemplary service as a public servant will always be remembered, President Masisi said.

He also spoke about his personal connection to the Pilane family, reminding the children of the deceased to take pride in the care and upbringing provided by their mother.

A family representative, Mr Letsebe Modise, expressed their gratitude for President Masisi's visit and comforting words during their time of mourning.

Ms Pilane had been ill for some time before her passing.

She will be buried in Pilane tomorrow. ENDS
