Construction of Mogoditshane-Thamaga Rural Administration Centre (RAC) is among the projects that have been suspended pending review of the Development Manager (DM) model.

Speaking in Parliament, Minister of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Mr Ketlhalefile Motshegwa said Mogoditshane–Thamaga Rural Admin Centre had been budgeted for under Transitional Development Plan.

He said that at the time of suspension, the design consultant was at design development stage. He said the outcome of the review would guide the ministry on the way forward.

 The minister was responding to a question posed by Member of Parliament for Mogoditshane East, Mr Letlhogonolo Barongwang in Parliament.

The MP has asked the minister whether Mogoditshane – Thamaga Rural Administration Centre which was funded under the 2023/2024 financial year would be considered for the next financial year as services were currently provided in temporary office structures which were not suitable for both council employees and the general public.
