No procurement award for dairy cattle

There has never been an award to procure dairy cattle from Brazil and United States of America as per the Ministry of Lands and Agriculture’s knowledge and records.
The procurement process went as far as the initial stage of approval of Method of Direct Procurement. The acting Minister of Lands and Agriculture, Dr Edwin Dikoloti said when responding to a question from Shoshong MP, Mr Moneedi Bagaisamang.
Mr Bagaisamang had asked the minister if he was aware of direct appointment of 3 in 1 Agric Consultancy for the supply and delivery of 100 live cattle from Brazil and United States of America awarded on October 6, 2024 and if so, to state the value in Botswana Pula, the direct contract award and if such award of contract still stands in view of the current economic state.
