Umbrella for Democractic Change (UDC) led government is making all efforts to revive the economy and is on track to deliver as promised in its manifesto.
This was said by Member of Parliament for Shoshong, Mr Moneedi Bagaisamang in his response to the Budget Speech yesterday.
He said UDC had hit the ground running and was looking at all possible avenues to achieve its mandate.
As such, he said he said UDC should align its manifesto with the national priorities. As human rights-centred government, Mr Bagaisamang said UDC would abide by the law and amend laws which violated human rights through a legal and consultative process.
He also applauded the proposed Dibete-Otse road tarring as well as the contruction of a hospital in Shoshong.
He said civil servants were facing accommodation challenges countrywide.
He said teachers at Poloka Primary School were sharing four houses, which affected overall performance of the school.
He further appealed to opposition legislators to be constructive in their debates and be relevant in the political peace. ENDS
