Mochudi stormwater system under consideration for NDP 12

Kgatleng District Council has submitted the review, design and construction of a 25 kilometres stormwater drainage system in Mochudi for consideration under the District Development Plan 9/ National Development Plan 12.
Minister of Local Government and Traditional Affairs, Mr Ketlhalefile Motshegwa highlighted this when answering a question from Kgatleng Central Member of Parliament, Mr Mpho Morolong yesterday in Parliament. He further said the stormwater drainage master project that was initially planned, was not undertaken due to budgetary constraints.
The MP had asked whether the minister was aware of the abandoned Mochudi Stormwater Drainage Master Plan Project that was not funded since the 2003/2004 financial year under the District Development Plan 6. ENDS
