The Second Meeting of the First Session of the 13^th Parliament will commence on February 10.  

A press release from the National Assembly says the meeting will be preceded by presentation of the Appropriation (2025/2026) Bill by the Minister of Finance and also the Vice President, Mr Ndaba Gaolathe who will immediately thereafter present the budget speech.

“It is estimated that the meeting will last 10 weeks, that is it will end on or around April 17, 2025,” says the release. 

The Second meeting of the First Session of the 13^th Parliament, as per the release, sometimes also referred to as the budget meeting and mainly focuses on discussing the budget.

The budget meeting, the release says will be held at the Parliament Chamber and will be broadcast live on Botswana Television, Radio Botswana as well as through the following social media platforms; parliament Facebook page, BW Government and BW Presidency. ENDS
