Botswana Cycling Association secretary general Game Mompe has been nominated as candidate for the Confederation of African Cycling (CAC) management committee elections.

According to a press release from Botswana Cycling Association (BCA), the elections would take place at the CAC congress in Egypt on 16 February 2025.

BCA stated that the prestigious nomination was a milestone for Botswana cycling and testament to Mompe’s dedication, leadership and commitment to growth of cycling in Botswana.

It pointed that her candidacy had placed Botswana on the map, representing the country at the highest levels of African cycling governance.

“Let us rally behind her as she takes on this significant journey. Together, we can continue to propel Botswana cycling community to greater heights. We wish Game the best of luck in the elections,” BCA said. ENDS
