Tennis junior Diraditsile bows out in quarterfinals

Botswana junior tennis player, Reagile Diraditsile has been eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Southern Zone ITF/CAT Junior Tennis Tournament hosted by Namibia Tennis Association in Windhoek.
Diraditsile, who was the only player from Botswana to reach the quarterfinals, lost 6-1, 6-1 to South African third seed Jamie Roux this morning. He had advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating Liam Kuhn on Namibia 6-4, 6-2
Botswana Tennis Association had sent 12 players to the competition with most getting eliminated either in round one or round two.
Kgotso Kejakang was eliminated in round one in the boys under 14 category while Lebone Tlape and Tinashe Phatshwane managed to advance to round two but could not progress further.
In the boys U/16 category, Tyson Anderson and Kefentse Lekaukau were knocked out in the round two. However, Diraditsile made a his presence felt by advancing to the quarterfinals.
In the girls U/14 category, Camilla Seetso lost in round one, while rising stars Malak Macheng and Angel Chakanyuka bowed out in round two.
The girls U/16 category saw Jemima Makhumalo eliminated in the round one. Nelisiwe Tsima and Ditshegofatso Bapaletswe made it to round two but failled to progress further. ENDS
