Head Mountain Church donates

The Letsholathebe branch of Head Mountain of God Apostolic Church in Zion has ushered in 2025 by donating clothes and toiletries to less privileged members of the community in the village.
Known for its commitment to the wellbeing of the community, the church made the donation more meaningful by staging it on the first day of the new year.
It also donated a wheelchair to one member of the community living with disability.
Chairperson of the church in the northern region, Evangelist Robson Nthata emphasised the significance of extending a helping hand to the needy at the beginning of the year, outlining that it was intended to set a positive tone for the entire community.
Evangelist Nthata pointed out that the church was setting anl example for others to follow.
"We believe that extending compassion and support to the less privileged is a vital aspect of our faith. Beginning the year with this act of kindness is testament to our commitment to serving our community," he added.
Tati West Member of Parliament , Mr Justin Hunyepa commended the church for having kicked off the new year with a charitable drive.
Mr Hunyepa said the church had been a pillar of community support for the past 85 years. He added that the church was integral to the fabric of the society.
"As we welcome a new start with a new government, we pray for a future where our nation rises to the fullest potential and excel to greater heights," he said.
Kgosi Paul Thomba of Letsholathebe said the church had played a vital role in shaping the society and was a cornerstone of the community. ENDS
