Tlokweng border gate has experienced congestion as people have been travelling in and out of Botswana since December. According to Immigration Administrator, Ms Katlego Lefoke, as at 1130 on December 25, over 500 travellers had already crossed the border into South Africa. She said 303 were Batswana. She said they recorded over 200 arrivals, with South Africans leading with 111, followed by Batswana with 49 and Zimbabweans with 46 and 11 Zambians. She further said on December 24, they recorded 3 619 travellers with 1 787 arrivals and 1 832 travelling outside the country. As for December 23, she said 4 039 were assisted with 2 224 arrivals and 1 815 on departure adding that on December 22, 2 416 arrivals and 1 789 departures were assisted at the border. Ends
