First Lady hosts Christmas party for Gaborone South children
First Lady Kaone Boko on Monday celebrated with the children in Old Naledi, Gaborone South at a Christmas party, where she gifted them hampers.
The day, which drew attendees of various age groups, was spiced up with games, jumping castles and gif distributions.
Speaking at the event, Gaborone South MP, Mr Nelson Ramaotwana highlighted the significance of such gatherings, allowing children to experience joy and foster community spirit.
He said he was surprised at the turnout, saying the number of children exceeded their expectations.
Gaborone City Mayor, Mr Oarabile Motlaleng extended his gratitude to the First Lady and Mr Ramaotwana for the initiative.
He called on parents to cultivate a supportive environment for their children, saying communal responsibility should transcend political divide. Ends
