Ministry allows court to conclude shooting incident

Assistant Minister for State President, Ms Maipelo Mophuting says the ministry can only review the matter where 10 alleged suspects were shot to death by security agents only after its conclussion in court.
She said the matter was before courts where the sole surviving suspect appeared before Extension 2 Magistrate Court in Gaborone on December 4.
Ms Mophuting said her ministry would therefore allow the matter to be legally concluded.
MP for Okavango West, Mr Kenny Kapinga had asked the minster if he had any intention to review the previous government’s handling of the incident in which 10 alleged suspects were shot to death by people reported to be security agents. Ends
