Vice President Ndaba Gaolathe on Friday comforted a Molepolole family which lost its two children in a car accident recently.

The two children, Atang (9) and his sister Precious (5) died in a tragic accident near Bela Bela Quarry a week ago. They were the children of Mr Boipelo and Ms Mariam Pitinyane of Magokotswane ward in Molepolole.

At the time of the accident, they were traveling with a 24-year-old man of Bokaa, who also died after the Mazda Demio he was driving collided with a truck.

Mr Gaolathe said he could relate with the pain the family was going through as he also lost his loved ones within a short time.

He said it was time for the community and everyone to stand with the bereaved family and show them support, saying this was in line with God’s commandment.

Mr Gaolathe said it was therefore imperative for the family to find comfort in God, Who is all-loving and seek His guidance during this difficult time. The two children were laid to rest in Molepolole on Saturday while the driver was buried in Bokaa on Sunday. ENDS
