In the spirit of promoting unity and togetherness, Vice President and Gaborone Bonnington South Member of Parliament, Mr Ndaba Gaolathe hosted a Christmas party for his constituents at Bophirima grounds.
The festive celebration brought together residents of all ages, with children enjoying various activities, including games and jumping castles, along with being presented with gifts.
During the Saturday event, Mr Gaolathe drew his guests to a scripture from Matthew 19:14, where Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
He emphasised the importance of allowing children to enjoy life, underscoring their role as future leaders who would help shape a better Botswana.
Mr Gaolathe also encouraged parents to raise children in a nurturing environment under God’s presence, stressing the need for collective responsibility in their upbringing, irrespective of political affiliations.
The gathering was attended by notable figures, including Gaborone West Station Commander, Superintendent Knight Molosiwa, along with community elders such as pastors and councillors. ENDS
