Three companies contracted for 28 police stations

Homesafe Inspections T/A Homesafe Properties/ChIna Jiangsu International Botswana, Joint Venture and Unik Constriction Engineering were contracted to build 28 police stations across the country, Minister for State President told Parliament.
Mr Moeti Mohwasa said all the contracted companies had Tax Clearance Certificates at the time of being awarded the contract and did not owe tax.
Kgatleng Central MP, Mr Mpho Morolong had asked the minister to furnish Parliament with the names of the companies contracted to build 28 police stations across the country.
The legislator also wanted to know if the contracted companies had Tax Clearance Certificates at the time and if not, why were they awarded the contracts while owing tax. Ends
