The Botswana Table Tennis Association (BTTA) has selected the Youth U18 national team to represent the country at the Region V Championship slated for Namibia in 2025. 

BTTA public relations officer, Tshegofatso Malepa said the boys’ team is made of Reneilwe Lekorwe, Lefa Tsiaka and Thato Kgongwana while the girls’ team comprises of Boitlamo Nkele, Gabriella Tsiaka and Carol David. 

She said the team manager is Sedireng Tapa and the coach will be announced in due course. 

Meanwhile, Malepa said BTTA would end the year on a high note by hosting the Commonwealth Youth U13 Development Championships, the Regional U15 tournament and the Phoenix Assurance Botswana International Open on December 12-15. 

She said the three competitions have attracted and confirmed participation of players from Region V. Ends
