CEDA funds over 700 businesses in Selebi Phikwe East

The Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA) has funded a total of 739 citizen-owned businesses in Selebi-Phikwe East to the value of P113 961 446 in the last five years, Assistant Minister of Trade and Entrepreneurship, Mr Baratiwa Mathoothe has told Parliament.
He said the organisation was established by government to provide financial and technical support for business development with a view to promote viable and sustainable citizen-owned business enterprises.
Selebi-Phikwe East MP, Mr Kgoberego Nkawana had asked about the number of CEDA loans that were approved in Selebi-Phikwe in which citizens were direct beneficiaries in the last five years. ENDS
