TAFIC unstoppable

25 Nov 2024

Francistown outfit, TAFIC FC has solidified their second place in the FNB Premiership with a resounding 4-0 victory over Chadibe FC in Francistown on Sunday.

The win has brought TAFIC’s points to 15. Against a determined but ultimately outmatched Chadibe affectionatley called Abafana Ba Jabulile, the Matjimenyenga boys’ experience shone through.

They capitalised on Chadibe lapses and carved out a victory, with the final score fully reflecting TAFIC’s dominance.

Chadibe is a relative newcomer to top flight football and this was evident throughout the game.

Jean Lwamba spearheaded TAFIC’s victory, scoring twice in the first half.

His first goal came in the 30th minute following a composed finish inside the box.   Lwamba then converted a penalty shortly before halftime, giving TAFIC a 2-0 lead into the break.

Kemonetswe Mmangwedi added the third goal, capitalising on a defensive error.

Tumelo Majola sealed the victory with a powerful strike late in the game, making the final score 4-0.

Despite some periods of possession, Chadibe were unable to overcome TAFIC’s strong performance.

Their coach, Raizor Tsatsilebe, conceded defeat, while a smiling TAFIC coach, Elias Chinyemba indicated his satisfaction with his team’s performance.

Meanwhile, Mochudi Centre Chiefs retained their top position on the log with a 1-0 win over Sua Flamingoes at the National Stadium on Sunday.  ENDS
