Mnangagwa congratulates Boko

President of Zimbabwe and SADC chairperson, Dr Emmerson Mnangagwa has applauded Botswana for the democratic transfer of power from Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi of the Botswana Democratic Party, to President Advocate
Duma Boko of the Umbrella for Democratic Change following the October 30 general elections.
Dr Mnangagwa made the statement when officially opening the Extraordinary Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government in Harare, Zimbabwe yesterday.
He said the regional body was welcoming in a special way, President Boko and congratulating him for assuming the esteemed office of Presidency.
“We are confident that his sights and wisdom will contribute sustainably to the socio-economic development, prosperity, freedom as well as peace and stability of the SADC region,” said Dr Mnangagwa. Ends
