Zebras face mammoth task

Botswana national football team, the Zebras must win or draw with The Pharaohs of Egypt tonight to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cairo.
The Zebras started their first training session on Sunday some few hours upon arrival in Egypt in preparation for their last match of the qialifiers.
Updating BOPA on Monday morning, Botswana head of delegation Kgotso Motaung said the team received a warm reception in Egypt and that there were no injuries and or worries amongst the players.
The 24-man squad could not travel with Gaborone United FC duo, Mothusi Johnson and Alford Velaphi who are on suspension.
Seven times AFCON champions, Egypt, has proven their strength against the Zebras in their previous encounter last month, walloping Zebras 4-0 at Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown.
The Zebras is on second spot in Group C table with seven points below the Pharoahs of Egypt, who have already qualified and are leading the group with 13 points.
Another Group C encounter, 3rd placed Cape Verde is up against 4th placed Mauritania.
Both teams have accumulated four points and are still vying to get a ticket to Morocco too.
Zebras match will be played at 30 June Stadium in Cairo tonight (1900hrs local time). Ends
