Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) Director of Strategy and Policy, Dr Patrick Molutsi has appealed to Kanye East and Kanye West electorate to vote for UDC candidates in the two constituencies on October 30.

Speaking during their launch in Kanye recently, Dr Molutsi appealed to voters to cast their ballots in favour of Kanye East and Kanye West parliamentary candidates Mr Prince Mosanana and Mr Victor Phologolo respectively, as well as their council candidates.

Dr Molutsi stated that the UDC had programmes and policies designed to uplift the lives of Batswana, including the introduction of child allowance.

He said once voted into power, the UDC government would alleviate poverty with sustainable job opportunities, better living wages and education.

In his acceptance speech, Mr Phologolo says he felt compelled to represent the constituents to deal with grievances such as unemployment among the youth.

For his part, Kanye East UDC candidate Mr Mosanana assured voters that he would serve the constituency diligently.

Meanwhile, Dr Molutsi laid a wreath at the statue of Kgosi Bathoen II to honour his contribution to the Botswana National Front (BNF). Ends
