BPF presents Watshipi to MmopaneMetsimotlhabe voters

Botswana Patriotic Front (BPF) leader, Mr Mephato Reatile has appealed to Mmopane/Metsimotlhabe residents to give the party a chance to improve citizens’ lives by voting it into power.
Mr Reatile was officially launching Mmopane/Metsimotlhabe parliamentary candidate, Mr Olebogeng Watshipi and two council candidates for Mmopane West and Mmopane North West wards, Ms Lebogang Mosielele and Mr Titus Molatlhwa, respectively, in Mmopane on October 6.
Botswana Democratic Party, he said, had failed to deliver on its promises therefore, it was time to try the BPF.
The former Jwaneng/ Mabutsane legislator appealed to Mmopane/Metsimotlhabe constituents to entrust the three candidates, with the responsibility to represent them, stressing that ‘once voted into power, BPF would bring desirable change in the lives of Batswana.’
The BPF leader also encouraged Mr Watshipi, Ms Mosielele and Mr Molatlhwa to campaign boldly for elections by selling BPF aspirations, as stated in the party manifesto, which among others include, job creation, alleviation of poverty and provision of better social safety nets.
For his part, Mr Watshipi thanked BPF leadership for trusting him to represent the party in Mmopane/Metsimotlhabe constituency, saying he would strive to ensure all challenges facing the constituency were addressed. Ms Mosielele voiced a concerned about the lack of a 24-hour clinic in Mmopane and a mid-wife at Mmopane clinics.
She also complained that open spaces in Mmopane had become breeding grounds for criminal activities, promising that she would ensure that fitness and recreational facilities were developed in such spaces.
Mr Molatlhwa said he was confident that he would win the election as he had been working hard to assist the residents. ENDS
