Lactalis Botswana, a company that produces and distributes food products, has donated P10 000 and food hampers, including milk and drinks to the Masiela Trust Fund.

Speaking during a donation ceremony in Gaborone recently Masiela Trust Fund executive director, Ms Magogodi Dabutha expressed gratitude for the gifts noting that the gesture reflected the company’s commitment to supporting children in need.

She said Masiela Trust Fund was supporting children in most of Botswana settlement adding that the gesture would bring smiles in the children faces.

The company’s head of human resource, Ms Tshepiso Mokhutshwane said the donation was a result of a competition in which two of their consumers chose Masiela Trust Fund as their charity of choice after winning the competition.

She also said they believed in making a difference in people’s lives.  ENDS
