All roads lead to Lesototo Farm outside Moshupa for an epic horse race event on Independence day.

One of the organisers of the  race, Moagi Ketshabile said even though the event was in its infancy stage, they have gone all out to ensure that patrons enjoy the day in style.

He said the event, organised by Grace Diamond events company, would cater for patrons of all age groups.

“There will be fun activities for the children such as jumping castles, roller coasters, quadbikes and horse riding amongst other activities,” he said.

He added that there will be a horse cart ride, which most of the people were not familiar with.

Ketshabile said those attending the event should not worry with security issues as they have ensured that everyone including their belongings are safe.

He said cooler boxes will be allowed on-site and people will be expected to pay P20 for the cooler box, adding that there will be an after party as they want to ensure that people do not travel long distances in search of fun activities.

He said registration for horses, which started on Wednesday closes today.

Thorough breed registers for P500 each horse, cross breed with P350 while Tswana horse is P200.

A similar event will take place in Lotlhakane where there will also be an Independence summer derby and the entrance fee for adults is P40 while children pay P20 with stalls going for P300. Ends
