Access Bank Air Botswana launch WInitiative

Access Bank and Air Botswana have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) through which they have committed to enhance travel and financial solutions.

The agreement marks the beginning of a dynamic partnership designed to deliver enhanced value to customers through a programme called WInitiative.

Speaking at the signing ceremony recently, Access Bank Botswana managing director, Mr Shepard Aisam commended the partnership between the two entities, saying it signaled the bank’s continued commitment to creating more than just banking services.

Mr Aisam said the partnership introduced a groundbreaking vacation loan offering to be integrated into Access Bank’s upcoming WInitiative, a programme specifically designed to empower women by providing them with tailored financial products. 

He added that the impending Access Bank’s WInitiative launch, was poised to become a game-changer for women in Botswana, providing them with access to finance that supported both personal and professional growth.

“This partnership is more than a business agreement, it is about creating opportunities and elevating the customer experience. 

Air Botswana shares our commitment to delivering excellence and together we are offering a comprehensive value proposition that not only enhances financial flexibility but also makes travel more accessible and enjoyable for our clients,” he said.

Again, he said the partnership offered seamless blend of banking and travel services, hence customers would through such collaboration, enjoy financial flexibility for travel-related expenses, including family vacations and business trips. 

He further said by enabling more individuals and families to travel affordably, Access Bank and Air Botswana would contribute to the growth of the country’s economic status.

Similarly, Air Botswana general manager, Ms Lulu Rasebotsa also commended the partnership, saying it demonstrated Air Botswana’s vision to deliver world-class services to customers. 

“By integrating travel and financial solutions, we are creating a unique offering that empowers individuals and businesses alike to achieve their travel aspirations with greater ease and convenience,” Ms Rasebotsa said.

She added that the partnership between Access Bank and Air Botswana was also set to redefine the intersection of finance and travel as it offered customers unmatched convenience, value and empowerment. “We are proud to collaborate with Access Bank on this initiative, which will not only empower our customers but also fuel growth in Botswana’s tourism and aviation sectors.
