Kgotla upgrade requires vacancy resources

Upgrading of a kgotla primarily requires availability of a vacancy and other supporting resources like vehicles, infrastructure and support staff.
This was said by the Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Honourable Setlhabelo Modukanele when answering a question in Parliament recently.
Mr Modukanele said the ministry was aware of the need to upgrade the Metsibotlhoko kgotla to court of record, but could only be considered when resources permitted.
Takatokwane MP, Mr Tshoganetso Leuwe had asked the minister when government would upgrade the Metsibotlhoko kgotla and others around the country. Ends
