Customers from Mmadinare are required to access civil and national registration services either in Selebi Phikwe or through monthly outreach programme.

Answering a parliamentary question on Wednesday, Minister of Labour and Home Affairs, Honourable Annah Mokgethi said that was because there were no plans to establish a Civil and National Registration office in Mmadinare due to budgetary constraints.

Minister Mokgethi, who was answering a question from Selebi Phikwe East Member of Parliament, Mr Kgoberego Nkawana, added that the Civil and National Registration office in Selebi Phikwe would consult with the Mmadinare community to agree on a specific day of the outreach, suitable for Mmadinare residents.

She however expressed optimism that the intervention would continue to improve service in the area.

Mr Nkawana had asked the minister to state if there were plans to open an Omang office in Mmadinare. Ends
