Kalamare residents commends government

Residents of Kalamare have expressed appreciation for government’s commitment in improving their livelihood and bringing developments into the area.
Speaking in a kgotla meeting addressed by Shoshong Member of Parliament, Mr Aubrey Lesaso recently, residents commended him for addressing their concerns and advocating for the developments in the area.
Thus, the residents lauded government for playing an active role in improving the socio-economic status of the village. They said the clinic that was currently being built would boost reduced the distance and time that they have to travel to seek medical services.
Kgosi Goareng Mosinyi of Kalamare encouraged residents to utilise government programmes and resources, emphasising that they should change mindset.
He also encouraged residents to attend thuto-ga-e-golelwe classes conducted on a weekly basis at the kgotla shelter meant to better their lives.
A resident, Mr Boetelo Lesole said he was elated to learn of the inclusion of the unemployed youth into the construction of the clinic.
He is of the view that the majority of the youth in the village had skills but were grappling with unemployment, thus considering employing locals in projects of such a magnitudewas commendable. Ends
