Botswana started the Davis Cup Africa, Group V on a high note by defeating Libya 2-1, with scores of 6-7, 6-4, 7-6. The match lasted four hours, with intense play leading to moments of racquet tightening and muscle cramps before a winner emerged. Mark Nawa, representing Botswana, secured victory by winning the second and third sets with scores of 6-4 and 7-6, respectively. On the other hand, Libyan player Ahmed Mouhan claimed the first set with a score of 7-6. ENDS
