Residents of Otse have welcomed the construction of a clinic in the village as a development that will have a positive bearing in the lives of the community.

In a kgotla meeting addressed by Shoshong Member of Parliament, Mr Aubrey Lesaso on Thursday, Village Development Committee Chairperson, Mr Kago Selebatso said bringing services closer to the community would nudge them to embrace Mindset Change campaign.

Assistant chief registered nurse based in Shoshong, Ms Dudu Molebalwa said there were some delays with the project but the positive aspect of it was that it had engaged youth.

A resident, Mr Balathi Tothanyo complained that even though government assisted the elderly with old age pension, some caretakers used it for their own benefit, something Mr Lesaso condemned as morally incorrect and should be reported to social workers. 

Kgosi Gofaone Kodibeleng of Kodibeleng pleaded with the youth to unite and come up with business ideas to improve their lives. Ends
