Ms Molefe, 79, and popularly known as Mma Mthimkhulu is mother to Minister of Environment and Tourism, Mr Dumedzweni Mthimkhulu.

In his words of encouragement, President Masisi said, “I am here to comfort and encourage you on the loss of your beloved mother. Support one another during this time of difficulty and be encouraged to find comfort in the Lord.”
He informed the family that he would not be able to attend the funeral owing to an official visit he would be undertaking to Namibia, however, he assured that he was with them in spirit.
