President, Dr Mokgweetsi  Masisi will embark on a working visit to Namibia from July 2 to 5 at the invitation of Dr Nangolo Mbumba, President of Namibia.

While in Namibia, President Masisi will deliver a keynote address at the Swakopmund International Trade Expo (SWAITEX) on July 3. The President will also hold official talks with his counterpart . The discussions will encompass bilateral, regional, and global matters of mutual interest, including a review of progress in existing areas of cooperation, such as agriculture, transport, telecommunications, defence, and security. The two Presidents will also explore potential opportunities to  enhance and deepen collaboration between Botswana and Namibia.
The President will be accompanied by First Lady Neo  Masisi, Vice President Slumber Tsogwane and a delegation comprising of ministers of foreign affairs; defence and security; finance; transport and public works; agriculture; labour and home affairs; education and skills development; minerals and energy; trade and industry; as well as communications, knowledge and technology, and senior government officials.
The President and his delegation will return to Gaborone on  July 5 .
