Table tennis senior national team in Luanda

The Botswana Table Tennis Association (BTTA) senior national team is in Luanda, Angola to compete in the Southern Africa Region World Championship 2024 qualifiers.
In an interview, BTTA public relations and communications manager, Tshegofatso Malepa said the team, comprising eight players, left on June 26 for the four-day qualifier event billed for June 28 to July 1.
Malepa said the event is expected to test the local table tennis players’ mettle as it would field the region’s best players.
The men's team is made up of Bakang Maloka, Masa Lesole, Mompati Chabe and William Olyn and is coached by Boitshwarelo Butale.
The women’s team comprises the quartet of Tshepiso Rebatenne, Emmah Lelatisitswe, Tsholofelo Gaokgalemelwe and Olorato Ramagapu.
BTTA vice president technical, Kabo Mosarwe is the team’s manager and vice president finance, Oabona Raditloko is head of delegation. BOPA
