South Koreas remarkable achievements inspiration to Botswana

President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi today (June 4) led his delegation at the inaugural Korea-Africa Summit in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Addressing the summit, he said the Republic of Korea's position as one of the most leading and innovative nations in the world was a remarkable achievement and served as an inspiration to both Botswana and fellow African states.
He also noted that Botswana was committed to investing in science and technology, building a robust digital infrastructure, as well as creating a supportive environment for small businesses and start-ups. The President said he looked forward to active participation of Korea in the development of corridors in support of the African Continental Free Trade Area, which he said would bolster trade with Korea.
