A new national executive committee to run the affairs of Botswana Softball Association (BSA) will be elected in Mahalapye over the weekend, as the mandate of the current Katlholo Mosimanegape-led committee comes to a close. 

The annual general meeting will elect a new committee whose mandate will end in 2027. 

The nomination list has revealed that Mosimanegape will seek re-election in a two horse race against former president, Tirelo Mukokomani.

 In the vice president position, Letsweletse Jonas is unopposed as well as Same Tshelametse for the position of secretary general. 

Justus Kuswane and Nozibonela Payet are also unopposed in the competitions and public relations officer and marketing posts respectively. 

The technical development officer seat will be contested by the trio of Abel Mataboge, Onkagetse Godson Motsumi and Romeo Tshelametse.
