Boxers qualify for next round

Botswana boxers, Kutlwano Sekhutlo (63kg), Mmoloki Sekwaipe (57kg) and George Molwantwa (54kg) have won their maiden fights at the ongoing Mandela African Boxing Cup in Durban, South Africa.
Sekhutlo is through to the semi finals while Molwantwa and Sekwaipe are in the quarterfinals stage.
Molwantwa’s quarterfinal bout against Gome Ernesto of Angola will be today, while Phekie Bele will be in her maiden bout in the 54kg category against Rapelang Maselela of Lesotho.
The inaugural Mandela African Boxing Cup, which started on April 15 ends on April 21. The competition is organised by International Boxing Association, African Boxing Confederation and South African Boxing Organisation. ENDS
