Molale signs pledge

A team of cyclists from Botswana, Namibia and South Africa is on a tour along the Trans Kalahari Corridor (TKC) dubbed 'Cycling for the TKC'. The tour started in Rustenburg, South Africa on Tuesday and passes through the Trans Kalahari Highway in Botswana before finishing in Walvis Bay, Namibia on April 29. The tour is part of activities to commemorate 20 years since signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by the three countries, of unlocking trade relations and achieving seamless movement of people and goods along the TKC and the whole region. The tour stopped briefly in Lobatse on Wednesday, where minister of Trasport and Public Works Mr Eric Molale signed a pledge. Photos: Jeremiah Sejabosigo
