Nkutlwisang said in an interview  that she was happy to be invited to a workshop whose main objective was to increase gender diversity in coaching, by supporting female coaches to excel and remain involved in football coaching.

The former senior women national team coach said with the acquired knowledge, she would do things differently.

“Currently, I have a B-licence and the course will go a long way in enhancing the way I have been doing things,” she said and stated that Saudi Arabia style of play was different form Africa, in that they strongly believed in keeping the ball and outclassing their opponents with pace.

Nkutlwisang said throughout, she had been learning from her African peers, but the workshop would help her diversify her style of coaching.

“The other objective of the course is to equip us with advanced coaching knowledge to enhance our coaching skills,” she said.

Nkutlwisang, who played a role in The Mares maiden appearance at the WAFCON finals in Morocco, hoped the course would take her closer to gainining an A-License.

“My dream is to acquire an A-License, I want to thank CAF and Saudi Arabian Football Association (SAFF), for giving me such a glorious opportunity,” she said. ENDS
