Eleven Angels wallop Morupule Wanderers 2-1

In a match that will go down in history as one of the most thrilling games in the premier league, Eleven Angels defeated Morupule Wanderers 3-2 in a hard-fought contest in Francistown on Saturday.
The game was close contest from start to finish, with both teams battling for every point.


Eleven Angels came out on top in the end, but the result could have gone either way.
It was a testament to the skill and determination from both teams, and a thrilling spectacle for the fans who packed the stadium to watch the action.


The first goal by Morupule Wanderers was in the early minutes of the game when Baboloki Makhura received a telling pass from Tendai Kesekile and released a shot that left Eleven Angels goalkeeper, Thambani Bachopi totally beaten.
A few minutes later, Dominic Chungwa scored a brilliant goal that left Eleven Angels defence in a frenzy, something that did not go well with Coach Seemo Mpatane.
It seemed all but over for Eleven Angels, as they trailed 2-0 to Morupule Wanderers at halftime.


But in a dramatic second half, Eleven Angels staged an incredible comeback, scoring three goals to take the lead.
The first goal by Eleven Angels came in the 60th minute when Mpaphi Bulala scored a brilliant goal from a free kick outside box.


The goal which was perfectly taken, left Morupule Wanderers goal minder, Kagiso Moganetsi defeated.
Ten minutes later, Bulala repeated himself but this time around, dribble past the Morupule Wanderers defence and scored a perfect equaliser.
With an equalising goal, Eleven Angles dominated the second half searching for another goal.


They controlled both wings and the team was moving forward with speed and determination, giving Wanderers a tough defence.
When the game was in its dying minutes, Desmond Motukufa put the last nail on the coffin of Morupule Wanderers after he dribbled past the goalkeeper and released a thunderbolt that left Eleven Angels fans on their feet.
With the final whistle was a sign of relief for Eleven Angels home crowd erupted in celebration of their team’s win.
In an interview Coach Mpatane said he never lost hope for the game.


"I never lost hope. We knew we could come back and win this game," said Mpatane.
He said it was an incredible second half performance from the whole team.
Morupule Wanderers Coach, Agang Mogotsi said it was a heart-breaking loss.


"But I am proud of the way my team fought until the very end. They never gave up, even when things looked bleak," disclosed Mogotsi. Ends
