One of struggling First Division North teams, Green Lovers will have a lot on its plate as they host one of the league pacesetters, Chadibe FC in a league encounter at Masilo grounds in Serowe on Saturday.

In an interview, Green Lovers coach Mpho ‘Dunga’ Kooreme was adamant that his charges would salvage something on Saturday encounter come rain or sunshine.

He warned his opponents to undermine them at their own peril as his side was focused on producing good results.

Given that his squad was injury free and would be playing at home, he said they had what it takes to collect maximum points, adding the fitness level of his charges were very impressive.

He warned Green Lovers, who are pegged in position eight in log standings that they would collect maximum points.

Mpugwa said though for the past two games his charges did not do well in terms of results, there were a lot of positives that he picked up in those games that would work in their favour for the upcoming game.

As for the transfer window, he said his team took advantage to beef up the squad to come up with deadly combinations that would cause havoc on Saturday clash.

Mpugwa said his side had a pool of experienced players that could adapt to the demands of the game and this would give his boys an upper hand over his opponents.

In other First Division North league encounters; Santa Green will play against Pilikwe United at Pekenene JSS while Mbalakalungu FC will lock horns with Tsabotlhe FC at Prisons grounds.

Motlakase FC will take on Sankoyo Bush bucks at Oris Radipotsane Stadium while Calendar Stars will slag it out with BR Highlanders at Caledron grounds.

Makungulupeswa will be up against Peacemakers at a venue not yet announced at the time of going to press. All games are scheduled to kick off at 4.30pm. ENDS
