Alarm Girls thrash Mazottie

Security Systems on Saturday registered their second consecutive victory thrashing Mazottie 5-0 in league game in Gaborone.
The five goals were courtesy of Lesego Keleboge and Bame Ngenda's braces while Maatla Tlhobang scored the other goal.
The two sides started the game on a high tempo. However, Mazottie suffered a major setback in the early stages of the match after their key player, Tshegofatso Mosotho was given a red card for deliberately handling the ball after goalkeeper, Mitchell Pelaelo was bypassed in the box.
Although Mazottie tried to deny their opponents space to play, Security Systems girls were clever to capitalise on defensive mistakes.
Security Systems coach, Omphile Madala said he was happy that his team played as a unit and grabbed three valuable points. “Our aim is to challenge for the league championship and we are on the right track,” he said.
He, however, said he was disappointed that the game started late due to the non availability of match officials, saying it disturbed his team and prevented them from playing to their full potential.
Mazottie assistant coach, Sfiso Kamusu said Mosotho’s early red card was a big blow to his team and that they were forced to change their formation and tactics as they were now playing under a lot of pressure.
Kamusu also decried the late start of the game, saying it also affected her players psychologically.
In other games, Gaborone United continued their winning streak by beating Big Sisters 3-0.
In Division two games, Township Rollers beat Vicomates 5-0 while Wonder Girls beat Ginomai 1-0. ENDS
