 Thuso Keraetswe scored a hattrick as Extension Gunners demolished URI Black Forest to a 4-0 in an entertaining Debswana First Division South League match played at Lobatse Council Stadium on Saturday.

Gunners controlled the match from the onset and took the lead in the 11^th minute through a close range finish by Mosimanegape Ntwaetsile.

The defender bundled home from close range after Forest goalkeeper Maemo Kabelo pushed an attempt from Boipelo Oaitse on his path following a well taken free-kick by Kabo Matshula.

After taking the lead, Gunners continued pouring forward and the brilliant Matshula had a stinging shot saved by the goalkeeper.

He then fired narrowly wide as Gunners created numerous attempts, with Thato Bolweleng and Pako Obakeng providing good service from the wings.

Bolweleng cut inside in the 19^th minute and passed to Thuso Keraetswe whose well struck effort was parried for a corner by the goalkeeper.

However, Keraetswe doubled the Gunners lead in the 26^th minute, heading a brilliant cross by Bolweleng past the bewildered exposed Kabelo.

Gunners continued dominating the latter stages of the first half but couldn’t extend their lead before the break.

Oaitse wasted a glorious opportunity to score the third goal when he placed his attempt over the posts in the 62^nd minute. However, Keraetswe scored his second of the match in the 78^th minute, controlling a well taken low cross from Bolweleng and firing past Kabelo.

Forest looked out of sorts as Gunners bossed the proceedings with Brian Mankanku and Matshula dictating terms in midfield. The Mmankgodi side barely troubled Gunners goalkeeper Ofentse Tauyatswala.

Keraetswe completed his hattrick in the 85^th minute when he picked a through pass and rounded the goalkeeper before slotting into an empty net.

The win lifted Gunners to position three with 18 points from 12 matches. Forest, which lost by the same scoreline to Notwane in their previous match, dropped to midtable. ENDS
