The final training camp for selection of the 16-men softball senior men national team resumes January 24 at the National Diamond.

The Botswana Softball Association public relations officer, Resego Monyake said the 16 players would be selected from the 22 that would partake in the training and selection camp.
Monyake said the camp would intensify competition and push players to perform at their best, eyeing to be among the last 16.
Monyake could not confirm as to when the selection of the 16 players would be done.
She said some of the 22 selected to partake in the camp were based outside Gaborone, and therefore had been provided with a training plan to follow.
Monyake said the training plan would assist the players to build endurance and fitness.
Funds permitting, Monyake said, the players based outside Gaborone would be assisted to travel to Gaborone during weekends to join the rest of the team and interact closely with the coaches.
The team is coached by Tony Moyo and assisted by the duo of Tebogo Makacana and Tapiso Otimile.
Jurry Manaka has been roped in as the development coach while Macdonald Fologang has been appointed the team manager. ENDS
