The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has unveiled a new kit for national teams. 

The home kit is blue with horizontal white lines and black sleeves while the alternative kit is black with blue sleeves while the away kit is white with blue sleeves. 

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Gaborone yesterday, BFA vice president, Maokaneng Bontshetse said the past two years had been bad for most businesses, including sport. 

He said they felt compelled to show gratitude and support to their official kit sponsor, Umbro. 

“There is no better way to support a sponsor than to generate revenue. We are hopeful that all will buy a replica kit to show support,” he said. 

He said the new kit came at the right time when the nation was rallying behind the AFCON 2027 bid. 

Bontshetse  further urged Batswana to buy the new kit and to wear it every Friday in support of the AFCON 2027 bid. ENDs
