Botswana Congress Party (BCP) women’s league president Ms Tshimologo Dingake has asked electorates to vote for the party candidate Mr Gaolathe Kenosi  in the Mmaphula East bye-election as he was capable of taking Botswana forward.

Addressing a star rally in Palapye on Friday, Ms Dingake said the area was lagging behind in developments, adding that the ward was vast and therefore needed a clinic to rescue residents from travelling long distances to access health services.

She urged electorates to scrutinize candidates and vote for the most capable contender, Mr Kenosi.

She said the future of the country should not be compromised thus electorates must make the right decisions when they vote.

She said BCP was capable of creating employment opportunities, pointing out that visionary leadership was paramount in taking the country to greater heights.

She urged electorates to shun corruption at all costs as it deprived Batswana the right to benefit from the country’s wealth and resources.
