Bagwasi to defend WBF title today

Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC) will this evening (June 9) be host to a professional boxing bout that will see Botswana’s Steven Bagwasi defending his WBF Super Featherweight title against Lunga Setimela of South Africa.
Bagwasi of DRAD Professional Boxing Stable will once again use his home ground advantage to defend the title that he won in August 26 last year when he defeated Said Chino of Tanzania.
He has been holding the title for the past 10 months.
However, defending the title will not come easy as he wil face stern challenge from an equally competent professional boxer, Setimela, who is the African Boxing Union Champion.
The bout is organised by Thuso Khubamang of Scud Missile Promotions. ENDS
