Security Systems seek good position in league log

Security Systems seek to ‘finish as high as possible’ in the premier league log while simultaneously according some youngsters an opportunity to play top level football.
After bowing out of the Orange FA Cup, Systems shifted focus to the league log to consolidate their position. They edged Nico United 1-0 at Sam Sono Stadium in Selebi Phikwe on Sunday.
In a post-match interview, Coach David Botlhasitse, said Systems were according youngsters an opportunity to light up their dreams of top flight football.
Systems boast 11 players aged under 23 years, with Muzila Muzila, as the youngest at 16.
“It’s our priority ever since setting foot into the premier league that we give as many youngsters as possible an opportunity to play in the top league,” said Botlhasitse.
“We believe in youngsters because they’re the future…you saw the likes of Tawana and Kopelang last season and many more new faces this season,” he emphasized, stressing that young players added to the energy the team required.
The win placed Systems on the fifth spot with 45 points from 27 games, with the league left with only three games to wrap up.
Just like Systems, Nico too are aiming to improve their position on the log. Although his first at home, Nico’s coach Rapelang Tsatsilebe found the loss not a huge dent on their intentions of squeezing into the top eight.
“We’re now looking at the top eight spot, which is our priority,” said Tsatsilebe, whose team dominated the second half against Systems, yet failed to break through.
“It is one of those days where things didn’t work for us despite having done everything we could,” added the man, whose team is perched at position 10 with 33 points. ENDS
