Busy evening for Team Botswana at World Junior Champs

Botswana’s 100 metres sprinter, Letsile Tebogo, will feature in the World Junior Champioships semi finals at 10:40pm today.
Tebogo qualified for the semis after winning his heat in Cali, Columbia. yesterday. Should he win, he will proceed to the final set for 1:55a.m tomorrow.
Tebogo is pitted against Columbian Ronal Longa, Peruvian Diego Gonzalez, South Africa Benjamin Richardson,USA’s Laurenz Colbert, Michael Onilogbo from Great Britian,Kakene Sitali of Zambia and Polish, Marek Zakrzewski in the semis.
Team Botswana coach, Chilume “Chippa” Ntshwarang said they expected Tebogo to continue his good form in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Botswana 4 x400 mixed relay team will compete in the final at 11:50pm.
The team will face Poland, Great Britain., United States, India, Jamaica. Germany, and Czech Republic.
In other races, the 400 metres heats will start at 5.25pm today. In heat one, Botswana will be represented by Collen Kebinatshipi in lane three.
Tumiso Gabonamong will follow in heat four, in lane four. Ends
