Team in India for chess olympiad

Botswana national team will take part in the 44th FIDE Chess Olympiad in Chennai, India.
A press release from the federation says the chess olympiad is scheduled to run from Thursday to August 10.
The event will also cater for the FIDE presidential elections.
The release says the women’s team, captained by Masego Motlotle, is made up of Women Fide Masters (WFM) Besa Masaiti and Naledi Marape as well as Women Candidate Masters (WCM) Natalie Banda, Arona Moshoboro and Ruth Otisitswe.
On one hand, the men’s team, captained by Thompson Modisane, comprises International Master (IM) Providence Oatlhotse, Gomolemo Rongwane, Oratile Kgotlane, Bojosi Sabure, and Keletshabile Monnatsheko.
The head of delegation is Mokwadi Tingwane. ENDS
