The Orange FA Cup semi-final draw has pitted Matebele against the newly crowned league champions, Gaborone United while Security Systems will face BDF XI

The semi-finals will be played in a double header at the National Stadium on June 11.

Security Systems and Matebele will be appearing for the first time in the Orange FA Cup semi-finals.

The only regional team still in the competition, Matebele, surprised many by knocking out seasoned campaigners in Jwaneng Galaxy.

Speaking at the semi-final draw, a director at Orange Botswana, Gazza Motswagole, said the final would also be played at the National Stadium on June 18.

He applauded the four teams for reaching the semi-final stage.

“They have played with big and small teams in matches that varied in toughness and what was consistent throughout was passion and determination,” he said. ENDS
